My Thoughts: SUPPORT. LOVE. RESPECT

Support, Love & Respect❤❤

Our communities are severely damaged and poverty stricken. I can't stress enough on how much support we are in need of giving one another. Instead of spending our money on truly unnecessary materialistic Bull... Why not support the brotha who dreamt of owning his own bakery. Why not spend money on the sistah who aspired to open her own shop. We need more support within our community for the young black  entrepreneurs of our (and the next) generation. We need to guide one another and inspire each other. Stop depending on the culprit, the media, to  entertain us, to dress us, and teach us erratic behavior.  I see so many young black women and men alike stuck on one beauty type, and only focused on getting money. Enjoy learning something else besides twerking in the mirror. Enjoy earning your wealth instead of "getting it anyway possible". We are much more  than this and shamefully we haven't a clue on the successes we can be in life. Open up Shops, Farmer's Markets, and daycares that contribute to affordability in our area. Help build up our 'hoods rather than being a participant in our demise.  Obliterate ignorance and anger so that we can become vulnerable to one another. Once support has been established we can move on to love. We can move on to self love, and promoting high self esteem. Not only for young girls, but also our young men, remind our boys they are intelligent. He can  become the next big CEO of a multi million dollar company, or she is beautiful no matter what the media beliefs are. Instill greatness and encouragement in our youths. Yes children are our future, but you are the light to their path, guide them in the right direction. Handle disputes in a logical un harming way, and  enliven love.hope&faith in one another. After Support and Love has manifested Respect will fall into place. Respect for oneself and our brethren will enable us to come together during hardship.  A travesty like Trayvon Martin's case should serve as a vessel for other outrages and unjust acts. Speaking along the lines of, "But there are other issues occurring everyday that doesn't receive attention."  Stop that nonsense, that's a corrupt way of thinking, because occurrences like this, bond our people together. Use that as a leverage to bring us closer when other acts take place. Use Emmet's case to raise awareness in our community, we have to start somewhere why not with  ❤❤SUPPORT. LOVE.& RESPECT❤❤
Never forget the great men who has brought us together at some point Martin L. King, Malcolm X,  and yes even Tupac made us aware of our harsh reality. We have and should continue to stick together through devastating events. But we can do that every single day, not only when we're being wronged.
